Hi! I have been searching the internet for a solution to this problem, but I haven't found any. Many people have reported bugs in this quest, but I haven't found anyone with the same.

So I started playing the game a few days ago, and I'm following the main questline so far. I arrived to High Hrothgar for the first time, and I found Amgeir in the hall, and noone else. I've started to talk to him, proved that I am dragonborn, and after that, my quest is to talk to him again. He says I'm ready for my training, but nothing happens. All the other graybeards are standing in a separate room, and they won't move.

Please help me, I really don't want to start a new character, and using console commands messes up the whole storyline.

Some simple troubeshooting:

Did you save your game just before entering High Hrothgar? If so

try rebooting your computer and going back in for the first time.

You could check your game cache in Steam to make sure that file is good.

Are you running any mods?

You are in The Way of the Voice quest, right ???

If you enter High Hrothgar from the back door, the Greybeards don't congregate in the hall and the quest will not progress.

Exit from the front door and reenter before speaking to Master Arngeir to progress
