I just had to ask, do any of you have accounts in Deviant Art? If so do you ever get slow connections to the site? I am getting fustrated, images won't load, website takes long to display, sometimes it will freeze the browser.

i do use deviantart, both on my laptop and my smartphone. although the load times are pretty terrible on my phone, all of the images load and the website runs pretty well.

Was on Deviantart last week and saw something way to deviant/illegal on the front page, so I've been avoiding the place now.

I wouldn't use the term "use", as I don't have an account or anything. I have about as much Artistic Talent as a Barnacle...

on a rare occasion I have visited the website, a girl i used to know back in Highschool had an account.. she was extremely talented as an Artist and we shared some interests when it came to games and anime, so I used to go on it and view her artwork, she hasn't updated it in a few years though.. I still open it up on Occasion simply to view Fan Art when the mood strikes me.. but I wouldn't say I frequent it or anything..


however, to your slow Connection question, I just tried opening it up and its not slow for me.. may be a regional issue..

you run that risk with any image upload site, I have heard of some very Horrifying stories of certain images showing up on Tumblr and Facebook

I visit it like once or twice a day and never have any connection problems.

TBH, that's the fun part sometimes. And by fun I mean horrifying but you can't look away. But that happens wherever you go.
