It's Gone All Buggy!

Hi,

Don't know what's happened, but I haven't played Skyrim for a while (a year or so) and recently started a brand new game on Xbox only to find that I'm running into piles of bugs that weren't there before. Among them are:

1. The number of books I can put on my bookshelf any of my manors varies wildly from what it used to be. For example, the game will tell me that I can put 22 books on a shelf that can only hold 11 books. It only displays 11 books, and also, when I activate bookshelf after, about half the books disappear.

2. My kids are suddenly naked. They're wearing underwear, but their clothes are gone. Giving them new clothes temporarily fixes the problem. Sometimes.

3. At some point, my character got stuck and couldn't move whatsoever after exiting a building. This bug actually affected all my saves - the character in all of them couldn't move whatsoever all of a sudden, whether by shouting or by walking or crouching.

4. Mannikins in the house don't load properly.

It's very strange. According to my system, it says that I have version 1.9.31.0.8 installed. I have also got both Dawnguard and Hearthfire installed. I'm not sure what's going on with the game, but it's a lot buggier than it used to be a year ago when I played it last.

Can you let me know if anything can be done?

1. Make a save first then: take all your books and try to put them back one by one. Try on the on bottom shelf first.

If something goes wrong reload that save and try again. That's a glitch that has been never fixed.

2. Giving them new clothes temporarily fixes the problem. (that's a solution)

And also you wanna try:

All you have to do is make sure you've given your kids a wooden sword and child's doll (sometimes they will be in the hidden chest in Salvius

Farm outside Markarth).

3. See if you clear the XBOX 360 system cache makes things better.

Also you wanna wait for 31 days (in-game), make a new save, and load that after.

Give them the clothes while they're in action either playing with toys or sitting down.

But you cant rush through, after you give them the clothes let the dialog run its course completely and they should put their clothes back on.\

4. That's an unsolved glitch too. Sometimes closing the door before you enter the room, or exit your home and come back, makes them working

properly again.

---------

Also, don't rely on autosaves, just make manual saves instead.

Some times, at autosaving, the game can glitch out, and freeze.
