Help out a PC noob

Post » Thu Apr 16, 2015 2:28 pm

Life-long console user here. I finally decided to buy the PC version of Skyrim for the mods available.

Before it arrives, could anyone offer some helpful tips or advice for someone that's playing it on PC for the first time? This is actually my first ever PC game, tbh. Are there any in-game settings, control configurations, useful general mods, or anything that I should do once I start it up? Would anyone recommend playing it with a 360 controller?

Thanks for whatever tips you guys can provide.

I would install and update Steam now simply to save time (you will be forced to install it and make an account before your computer will let you play the game after all)

I used to play with a 360 Controller, although certain mods nearly require a good ole Mouse and Keyboard for certain input
