What do you imagine your Skyrim character goes on to do after the event of Skyrim?

I imagine my dragonborn goes off onto an expidtition/colonization of atmora in search of knowledge of the nords origins. During Skyrims questline he purged and drove out all elements of the dark brotherhood, thieves guild, and vampire clans from Skyrim. Becomes elected High King of Skyrim, whereafter he relocates the capital of Skyrim to it's historical windhelm, where he rulred from the throne of ysgramor, thereafter founding his own new dragonnborn dynasty like the septims in Skyrim. I consider all furture royalty of Skyrim thereafter to be descendants of my dragonborn.

As King/Old Days:

Hair and skin tone faded and his eyes became more like the ancient nords with a magical bight sea glow to make hime look more wizardish.

I also made a mostly breton descendant of my dunmer Neravarine Amodeus Nelacros and his half breton half dunmer son Elodeyus Nelcros (Champion of Cyrodil), named Elcydsia Nelacros:

She completed the Dark Brotherhod questiline in my Skyrim. She was born of an elite/psuedohermitic cult worshipping the deadric prince Mephala, which after Skyrim she returned to her native High Rock to become the Grandmastress. She also possessed a spider beast form given to her as a gift from Mephala herself. She also worshipped Sithis/Padomay in her native high rock ever afterwards.

Also made imperial Alois Caldus Cereavar, served as a lower general in the Skyrim civil war but was ultimately slain by the dragonborn.

I have a forth character I have yet to make who completes the dawnguard questline as a vampire. Also slain by the dragonborn.

Generally all my characters leave Skyrim at some point save for one, since she has relatives in the Windhelm Docks. More specifically:

-(My Dragonborn) Eventually ends up in High Rock under the protection of a Priest of Julianos. Both will be in TES VI, but neither will be the main hero. Just side characters like the following ones.

-Just chills with his husband for some time. They go on a few adventures now and then but they generally just get drunk and somehow do some fishing. They eventually move to High Rock to reunite with his estranged brother.

-Gives her title of Archmage to Tolfdir then follows her brother and his husband to High Rock. Their broken family is reunited.

-Ends up deserting the Legion. Who knows where he is now.

-Having toured Skyrim to train under its smiths and becoming a master smith himself, he leaves the Companions behind and travels again. Good chance of showing up in TES VI, but for now I imagine he's returned to his home in Valenwood.

I make houses for most of my characters before I begin a game. Most of my characters retire to these houses and live out their lives as NPCs.

Explore past skyrim, excavate ruins, further their pirate life by raiding more and more ships up and down the sea of ghosts, the padomaic sea and the western coast of tamriel, aid the Dunmer in launching another war against the argonians as revenge, rebuild morrowind, explore the remnant isles of Yokuda, establish a pirate domain in the sea of pearls. That kind of stuff.

She is spending her time thinking of a clever way to mysteriously disappear from the face of Nirn, so that the next hero might appear.

She'll figure it out eventually.

I want to post about My character restoring Shor, but I believe My "Canon" character will establish a Militant Order to defend Adamantine Tower and attempt to restore all of the Towers and Stones, even Crystal Law.

My current character is starting ro recognize that the reason she got into the whole adventuring thing is that it was the only way to force her to be present in her life without being caught in the trauma of her upbringing. She was a survivor of a rogue band of Imperials who had raided her home, killed her family, and taken her for their plaything. So she killed them all while they were sleeping off a drunken stupor one night, and went on to become the master of her dual-weild knives and a Stormcloak with an attitude. She became addicted to the thrill of living on the edge, the clarity and rush she could only find when her life was on the line.

But once she met Paarthurnax, she started to see another possible path. Later, after she adopted Runa, and saw in her daughter the same angry knife-work she herself learned as a girl, it started her thinking about the path she was on. As a woman, my character will never be a greybeard. But she is starting to think that there might be a way for her to learn to be present and happy in her life, without having to be in a life-or-death situation. She is starting to meditate on her own -- not just the Way of the Voice, but rather, just sitting on mountains, by streams, watching her family, training herself to be in the present moment at all moments.

Eventually, I think she will develop a way of life that encompasses all the power and edge she has found in her more lethal efforts, but that transcends those efforts. She will found a small community of followers who hone their martial skills, their mental discipline, their command of the Voice, into an entirely new path. The Psijics will also be drawn to her, and eventually her way will include aspects of their disciplines as well, though this work will not be completed in her own lifetime. It will be taken up by Runa, and by her descendants. Whether or not this path will have a greater social impact on the world is unclear -- perhaps it will be a small hidden splinter group in the wilds of Skyrim; perhaps it will become so powerful it will rock the entire religious and social orders of Tamriel. For now, she only has vague glimpses of what might be, but for the first time in her life, she believes that true happiness might actually be possible for her, and she hopes to share this insight with her children.
