What are your thoughts about the sequel? Will Smith won't be in this movie.

Didn't care for the first movie; it was pretty boring for something that was all spectacle, to say nothing of the inane story. So I have no interest in the sequel. I don't even know what kind of story they can tell with this world that won't just be a rehash of the first film. There was hardly anything to say about the aliens and even less to say about the characters.

I also didn't care for the first one. And I can't say I'm excited about a sequel.

I believe I fell asleep watching the first one so...

I think I can live without another instalment of "America saves the world... again!" It was just silly and annoying.

I heard about this last year, thought it was a terrible idea then, havent changed my mind, because the one thing in the movie that made me laugh was if Australia sent up a first wave to take the ships down, then the second wave would be Cessna,s and Tiger Moths, maybe crash some Qantas airliners into them that wouldnt be hard.

I'll more than likely go and see it.

Its a shame Will Smith isn't in it, but I'm glad Jeff Goldblum is returning.
