a question about NMM and steam workshop

Post » Sat Apr 25, 2015 2:36 am

Ive been using nexus mod manager dor installing all my mods but with the latest decision to allow modders to charge for their work...

Basically (Il use this as an example) i have ineeds version 1.51 but on the workshop the version is 1.60..now as far as i can tell to get the updated version i have to pay and then use nexus mod manager to uninstall it and then use workshop to reinstall it right?

Can both NMM and Steam workshop work together nicely with programs like loot, tes5edit,wyre bash, etc or is just use steam or nexus + the tools of the trade(wyre bash, loot, etc)?

Anyways maybe someone can shed some light on this for me.

I've never been a huge fan of the way the workshop operates, so I primarily use NMM, but there are some mods only available on the workshop. I subscribe, run the skryim launcher through steam to download the mods, close the launcher, use other programs as normal. NMM will recognize mods you download from workshop, it just won't have the links for endorsing or checking the version, etc.
