Ok everyone, here we go, the competition has officially begun, all you have to do is post in here your characters name, gender, and race so I can update this post and include them. This competition will run until 5/24/15 12:00 A.M EST.

The rules are simple, each person's stats either at death or by 5/24 will be calculated using a scoring system that I will soon post here, and it will determine who has won the competition. Being DiD, once your character dies (if they die) you must post your characters stats at death, meaning game stats, such as main quests completed, side quests completed, level, etc. We will all be playing on expert difficulty, and as I'm sure you all know by now any mod that does change the game in a significant way, give an advantage to the player, or give them an ability previously impossible is banned. All other mods that don't follow into that category are allowed.

To go over the rules, here they are :

- No Fortify/Restoration looping

- No forbidden mods

- Expert difficulty

- No reloading previous saves even if character did not die (unless a glitch occurred)

- No fast travel

- Once in Helgen Keep, DiD rules apply

Now you do not have to constantly post the level of your character everytime it increases (though you are more than welcome to if you want us to stay up to date with your character), only at death or at the conclusion of the competition must you be required to turn in your characters stats, meaning you could keep your whole strategy a secret should you choose to (though I think sharing events myself would be the more fun route).

Well if this is the case I am sorry to hear that you didn't get to play long...but in any case please save the stats of the character and don't delete it, or if you want to delete the character make sure you PM me (or post in this thread) all of your stats for your character, so once I get scoring in place we can give you a proper score.

Has anyone gotten as far as the dragon stone yet? I have not been able to start, just got a chance to sit down again, and I'm looking at all the statistics right now and developing a scoring system to release, which I am considering making into a new thread, that way suggestions and concerns can be posted in that thread, and not take up a lot of this thread.

Btw the scoring system being released today is in its Alpha state, and I would like feedback in order to finalize it, there is so many things that go into scoring for this, and this to my knowledge has not been done before, so multiple opinions is crucial to achieving a balance of scores.

Btw big thanks to all that have joined, together I hope we can have a friendly competition that adds a new twist on our beloved game .

Not sure how to post pictures on here, but my character, Elesandra, just reached level 2 and is outside of Whiterun. She is currently focusing on Conjuration, Destruction, and Alteration, while also using bows a bit for long range sneak attacks. After dinner she will be continuing. Looking forward to keeping you all updated! (Btw, after I eat I will be streaming her adventure if anyone would like to watch!)

Sounds awesome redbeard . Glad to see someone starting their journey today, and yes I'd like to watch a little bit of your stream (btw is it on twitch or what platform) just give me a link when you are doing it.

Right now to keep you guys updated, I'm putting the scores into a MicroExcel spreadsheet, in which I will organize it based on class of statistics and by the points each action earns, to make it easier for you guys to point out any thing you think is imbalanced and make it easier to change.

I should be done in an hour or so, or at least have it mostly done, btw I did not realise how many statistics I have to factor in here, so this will definitely be a new thread for people to voice any balancing issues they find.

I have just finished my alpha version of the scoring system, I am organizing it into a thread now, I would like everyone, even those not involving themselves in this competition to help me balance the scoring system out, right now the main thing is to get one out there, because its impossible to balance something that isn't even there.

So feel free to leave opinions on the scoring system and give me feedback, and hopefully through multiple people's views we can make it fairly balanced.
