The cheesy olde English is painful too, I'm so glad it was gradually phased out over Daggerfall and Battlespire/Redguard.

Awww...I liketh yon olde Englishe. Methinks it hath its charm. I misseth it.

What we lost in ye olde Englishe, we gained in idiotic quasi-Latin names for Imperials.

if you're going to mention the goofy imperial names, you should also note the hokey quasi french of the bretons, and not to mention the corny redguard names too.

I rember the Redguard Super Ranger, discovered it by accident. At first I was like, why is this game so easy? Then I beat the game and made a second character, resulting in me soiling myself from excess difficulty

All made-up names are gonna sound made-up, no gettin' around it, but those Bigus dikeus names just get under my skin for some reason.

I wonder if the biggest problems with the Imperials is they replaced the Bretons as "Generic White Male Race Everyone Can Understand", and were specifically created to be Tiber Septim's personal Red Shirt Army.

Not having a race we can stick generic fantasy names to really svcks for playing who you want to be...

Meh. Imperials (at least in Morrowind) are too goofy with the over-exaggerated Mediterranean names.

Bretons are still my "Generic White Male Race Everyone Can Understand". In terms of visuals I think they do that role more justice than even the Imperials. :)
