Pitcher plant? : IV

I find these ingredients called pitcher plants, but seems like my char failes to harvest them.. What are they for?

Nothing can be harvested from them. They're just decoration.

Pitcher Plants are green, funnel-shaped, tall plants. Unlike all other plants whose name is displayed on screen, Pitcher Plants can never be harvested and do not have any apparent function in the game. They are found growing in the Blackwood region. In particular, they can be found in abundance near the Magnus Stone northeast of Leyawiin.

I don't believe you can harvest them.
Maybe they were intended to be harvestable but got left out for some reason.

Some people have speculated that they were possibly put in to support a future never released DLC that would allow you to harvest something from them. But in the end they are just unharvestable plants.

There are actually many unharvestable plants in the game. You just can't activate them the way you can activate a pitcher plant.

There is a mod that makes pitcher plants harvestable and fairly useful as an alchemical ingredient. Will be on one or more of the major OB mod sites if you are interested.
