Pay-for-Mods and the Morrowind community

With the destruction of the Skyrim modding community at hand, how does this effect the community that started it all?

The Morrowind modding community was built on the old time philosophy that the internet was all about sharing information.

1) Do you think Bethesda will try to monetize the old Morrowind mods?

2) Is anyone thinking about putting their mods on Steam for sale?

3) to all the old timers that built this modding community; Are you afraid that the new generation of modders will start to monetize this community?

No, I do not. There's no Steam workshop for Morrowind (or Oblivion), and no signs that gonna happen either. It's been over a decade since the last patch was released for Morrowind, and I doubt we will ever see a new patch for it that incorporate Steam Workshop.

It's not possible to sell Morrowind mods on Steam, so even if they are thinking about it, they can't.

This effects nothing. The Morrowind modding community is great, and always will be great, Steam Workshop be damned.
