Hi!

I'm having a strange bug involving some enemy NPCs (a group composed of two bandit chiefs and two regular bandits) detecting me no matter how I approach them, even when I'm sneaking, using an invisibility potion and the muffle spell, all at the same time. It's literally impossible to sneak on them and despite being hidden, they simply never stop searching for me, they get stuck in this infinite cycle of searching, giving up and immediately searching again.

I don't know if this bug can happen with other enemies, but I've reinstalled the game four times now and everytime I found this peculiar bandit formation, this bug happened. Also, I don't know if this can be of any help, but one of the bandits ALWAYS runs away in fear when the rest of the group enters the "combat" stance.

I'm not using any mods and I own all the DLCs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to sneak detection as I've yet to roll a sneaky character in Skyrim but... What is your sneak skill? If it's too low invisibility and muffle can only help so much, especially of the bandits are a high ranking. My current character has about a level 43 sneak and even paired with an invisibility potion she's often detected pretty easy.
Also, are they detecting you when you are close to them or are you far off?
