"Soften" collision (TranslateToREF)

Hello everyone!

I'm currently working on a scene where the player is translated on a moveable static (platform) from one point to the other. While the whole thing works unexpectedly well, there is still some "bumping motion" that takes places, supposedly each time the collision of the platform get's pushed forward and "hits" the NPCs collision. I know that this is mostly uncharted terrain, but are there any known workarounds to this? Maybe by modifying the rigid-body controller in the .nif of the platform itself, or by using a specific script-command?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
