Fallout 3 on big flatscreen TV

Hey all,

Just wondering about performance issues on my big screen TV (55 inch Sony KLDw805). I know that Gamebryo is not the best engine for FPS games, but the acceleration and other things seems really bad on my big screen TV as opposed to my monitor. Now I know that lag time on TV's are per definition higher than on a PC monitor, but I've never seen this problem before. With 40ms, lag times on Sony TVs are reportedly among the best. But while playing fallout 3 on my TV, VATS seems to load really slow and aiming out-of-VATS seems nigh on impossible. This is with a 360 controller as opposed to keyboard and mouse, by the way. I don't have this problem with games such as Skyrim, The Witcher 2, Far Cry 3, the Crysis games, you name it. But Fallout 3 seems to get really bad. I just now switched to my PC monitor and it's smooth as butter again. No lag in FPS or anywhere else though.

My PC specs for what it's worth:

8GB of RAM

GTX 970

Intel® Core™ i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz

Mod-wise, I'm running, among others:

FWE

Mart's Mutant Mod

NMC
EVE

Blackened patch

Bunch of texture mods and animation mods

Anyone know what gives? Is it the Gamebryo engine causing this? Would be weird since Skyrim still uses that as well, right?

Try without any mods first to see if it performs better and to rule out any mods.

Also it might help to run and post the full dxdiag.exe report in spoiler tags.

You might have to fine tune some settings in the ini files.
