Is my computer possessed?

Things with my Skyrim game have been eve weirder than usual, and I'm beginning to worry for my computer's sanity. You may have seen my thread "Skyrim's Evil Intentions", but things just keep getting stranger.

It's (I think) day three in Riverwood for my new character. I'd gone wandering around the area looking for various things, but I was looking for what I found. To start with, I'd found Anise laying dead in her doorway, apparently killed by three bandits who were kind enough to donate their armor and weapons. I've been having trouble with the mod "Real Needs", and it seems the only place I can get a drink of water is the stream by the bear the cave leading out of Helgen.

Returning to Riverwood in early evening hours, I encountered five wolves (six if you count the dead one) at the entrance to town. they were all arrayed in formation like they thought they were the Magnificent Seven or something. Any, combat ensued.

If you want to see this, it's http://youtu.be/yPN7IGfVFLQ.

I have the mods "When Vampires Attack" and "When Dragons attack" in an attempt to keep townspeople alive, so I was fairly upset when I discovered the casualties from these wolves. Hod, Faendahl, Hilda, and Gerdur were all dead when I got to town. I think if I'd been just a little later, Alvor would have been too (he can be seen walking across the street in the background at one point).

The ending was perfect. Do you always record your playthroughs?
