Advice about character creation

Hi to you all,

I need like the topic already says some advice from you.

After many years i decided to play this great game again.

I have all the DLC's and planning to play them all. But of course i have to create a character first.

This character will be firearms based and i prefer to use heavy weapons grenade launchers too.

When i played this game years ago there was a strategy guide i used to spend enough points into the SPECIAL so i could use implants to get the character i wanted to play with.

I dont need 10 perception just enough to picklock all locks and see enemies just from far enough. (if my memory is correct i thought i needed 4 perception and the perk four eyes to make it 6, what is enough for this)

I like to have a 10 on luck and so i have to drop 9 points into this. Because i can use an implant in this as well, and as far as i can remember there wasn't any perk for this, but i can be wrong. I will not use any companion so no need to waste points into charisma. And agility high enough i can use the max implants as possible. So what about the rest? Like to have my health as high as possible and to have a descent action points. And enough intelligents to get my stats at 100. Since i will never use melee or unarmed i don't think i will need them too 100. (i remember that the guide i read years ago told to when you start the game you had to go to the free zone as level 1 character to get a intelligent implant asap).

Well you get the point i would like to know. A basic character so i dont waste a SPECIAL point later one i could have put somewhere else.

Your help is much appreciated , cant wait to start this game.

Post from phone now, so just a little tip

you need perception at least 5. With implant = 6

without this, you dont get better criticals. This is THE perk for a luck 10.

dont take four eyes.

go with luck 8, take a implant and then use lucky shades (see on wiki how to get it)

later i talk better.

Thanks for the reply.

I did some research on the internet and am i right if i come up with this:

Strenght 5 later will be 8 ( with weapon handling (sort of) and implant) So i can use all firearms and heavy weapons

Perception 3 later will be 7 ( with lucky shades, combination if i do use four eyes and implant) So i can use all perception perks and see my enemies on time on the radar

Endurance 9 later will be 10 (with implant) Higher health

Charisma 1 later will be 2 (with implant) no use for it

Intellitenge 7 will be 8 (with implant) two or three stats dont have to be 100

Agility 8 will be 9 (with implant) more action points

Luck 7 will be 10 (with lucky shades, implant, and intense training) more luck more crits.

Am i missing here something? I know my perception is very low in the beginning but eventually it will be high enough.

Thanks for the input.
