This is more so a problem with my .nif I guess. But I can't seem to figure out why it's doing this.

have you checked the object bounds in xEdit?

how did you get this into the game? custom model?

does it have collision?

I used BlackreachGiantMushAnim1.nif for the base. It's been a while, but from what I remember all I did was remove the stem from the model, and changed the texture. The model is an activator in CK and not a static, and it uses bounding box for the collision.

Again, I have not done much modding for a while so I'm not sure on some things. But I remember it being solid when I spawned one in game.

The object bounds in Tes5Edit is -290, -306, -2, 248, 252, 1263. This was after I did recalc bounds. The numbers do seem very high, so that could be related to the box.

if it's an animated nif, you probably should remove the animation trees in nifskope,

you should make sure it doesn't have collision on it, if it does, it won't matter if you delete part of the mesh, the collision will remain.

you should check it out in nifskope and make sure
