Distant terrain won't stay in the distance

Post » Mon May 18, 2015 5:36 pm

For some reason, the distant terrain models on Solstheim continue to display when I arrive at the location, so that the distant models are still placed over the high-quality models. This does not occur in Skyrim (with the exception of a few trees near Riverwood, but this is probably unrelated).

If anyone know how to fix this, I'd appreciate it. I'm getting rather tired of this. If I'd wanted ugly, low-quality terrain, I'd have gone to the Illiac bay, not Solstheim.

If you have Warburg's Paper Map, there is a workaround from here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGcIS9GBu4c

Of course, you would need to revert that change when you go to Skyrim. Or you can use the Dragonborn map but it won't work if you have Shadow of Morrowind.

Disregard this if you don't have Warburg's Paper Map. :)

Ah, I was using Warburg's Paper Map. That workaround seems like too much trouble, though. I'll just get a different map.
