How did you feel the first time you left the Vault and saw the world before you.

Back at the time i was shocked by the view of the Wasteland.

PS:Is it just me or are the graphics in F3 better than in FNV ?

Completely amazed at the sight of the desolation and ruin, and a little worried by what awaited me. I've just restarted on Fallout 3 after three years in New Vegas, and I still get the same feelings now.

My initial response was: "Cool!"

I was like "Whoa'', and yes sometimes to me the graphics do look better in 3.

I first played with all the mods installed. I wish I had not. After the blinding white light, I clicked through a bazillion "DLC Messages" before getting to the scenic overlook. They were even still popping up as I walked down the road to the first settlement. Needless to say, I was not very impressed, BUT I could have been

If you're on the PC, there is a mod you can get that will delay the start of those DLCs until you come to a more logical location other than just coming out of the vault. So you won't see any of those messages.

I was too annoyed by all of those damn DLC pop-ups to notice the view. Way to spoil the moment, Bethesda.
