If you have a bit of spare cash then yes, mostly to understand how it started and how it as grown. Personally I do not like fo1/2 but enjoy tactics but iv never played BoS

These are old school, if you can play NV you can play these. Hell, if your computer was made in the last 10 years you can probably play these.

The original Fallouts date from 1997 and were not particularly demanding games even then.

If your PC can run these forums it can almost certainly play the original Fallouts. You should play them because they're great games and great RPGs but in terms of gameplay they are nothing like the newer Fallout games.

Ah, well any cheap laptop should do the trick for FO1 and 2. They were released in '97 and '98 respectively. FO2 specs include a single core 1.4ghz processor... The cheapest laptop at bestbuy still has a dualcore processor and each of those run at 2.16ghz, that'd be a 50% increase in power if it was a single core, as a dual core it's much better. For Fallout BoS you need either an Xbox, PS2 or an emulator.

Download restoration project for Fallout 2.

It′s very cool, add new chars, locations and quests. Even add new talking heads. Cassidy has one.
