» Thu May 21, 2015 5:56 am This is a new one... I am getting crashes upon hitting Esc to open the menu.
So far, my game has barely crashed at all, but my adventures recently took me to Hjaalmarch near Morthal, there I started getting both crashes on hitting ESC, and game freezes where skyrim just stops responding, both of these kinds of crashes are things I have never had in all my years of modded skyrim. If they were regular CTD I could probably figure them out, but these are just too strange. In the last 30 minutes or so I have had about 5-6 crashes in Morthal
In this save I have not changed any mods or anything around so I doubt it is due to that, LOOT gives no issues, thought the staff machine reproccer failed. Also, I cannot get my game to print papyrus logs so I couldn't check there. There are no paticular things that I do that seem to cause the issues.
Honestly, this area of the world in skyrim seems to always be the crashiest, so maybe it has something to do with ETAC as that is a mod I have had in all of my installs of skyrim and it certainly has an effect on the region.
