Modder's who would like to make some money...

Post » Fri May 22, 2015 7:45 pm

I saw Game Guru on steam for 14.99 and its drawing alot of attention...i thought about getting it and trying my hand but im old now and i dont wanna really get into the scene again but alot of you are young and have many years ahead of you.I guess you make games and sell them on steam and it 100% royalty free(which i assume means you keep the money but i aint for sure on that).

Just something to think about after the recent bash....good day,

qwert

Royalty free means you don't pay whoever is saying their thing is royalty free a % of your profit.

if a tool is royalty free it indeed means you buy it from them, then owe them nothing. Keep in mind Steam takes ~30% from ALL game sales though and you have to get approved to be on Steam before you can sell it there.

I'd consider making a game that gets approved to be on Steam 'making it big'. Especially now that they're pulling back on greenlight and tightening up after the recent string of less than honest games that have gotten in.

I do want to make it known from what i understand the tool you buy comes with the started stuff and then theres resource packs that you buy if interested...suppossed to be really user friendly.
