It replenishes anytime you have alcohol afaik. I already abused the meditation feature and cannot replenish potions anymore because I used all the alcohol up.
Some MODERATOR should close the old thread then !!!
Don't worry, I sent a report the second I made this thread
Cool. !!! I do not know how it works...exactly.
@Cabius If you want to know what happened to the girl in the side quest in White Orchard. Just open up your completed quest log, it goes into more detail. It seems to do this with a few quests.
If anyone wants to know their reasoning behind the new alchemy system, in particular the refilling, read http://www.lazygamer.net/genre/rpg/alchemy-is-different-and-better-in-the-witcher-3/.
Another reason not mentioned there was that they wanted to make people who have the tendency to hold on to potions for a "better time" to actually use them instead. Since they will refill if you have the right alcohol there's no need to save them. I've had this habit in Skyrim with powerful potions in my inventory I try not to use them because I want to save them for when I really need them but most of the time that never comes
It's funny how certain members here that praise the crap out of the Witcher 3 would probably be the same people to cry out "dumbing down" if the next TES had refilling potions.
I rarely used potions in the Witcher 2 anyway unless for a big boss battle or when forced to use Cat....quen, roll, attack was all I needed and I wonder if that same formula will work as well in this game.
I actually don't like that the weapons level scale to whatever level Geralt of Rivia is.
I also do not like that the potions replenish automatically.
But unlike The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which has so many features removed that made playing The Elder Scrolls video games enjoyable for me and adding features that should never exist in The Elder Scrolls video games like regenerative health.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has like 2 features or 3 features that I do not like. That's it.
@Cabius
It explains why they took her.
So I messed up big time! I based my build off beginner abilities and didn't realize that alchemy is still the most OP tree in the game (like Witcher 2). I know you can purchase respecs, but now that I'm not forced to do so, I kind of want to start over again.
