Oblivion XP vs Realistic leveling

Since I don't care much for the vanilla Oblivion leveling system, I've been looking at mods that change how it works. I've come across two mods which I've tried briefly, Oblivion XP and Realistic Leveling, and I can't seem to make up my mind which I prefer. I've played a little bit which each. I've noticed a few pros and cons for each of these and am looking for help in deciding which is right for me.

Oblivion XP seems to make seems easier to get an ideal stat spread, but it makes it harder to raise non-specialized skills since they cost extra points. Also, with my current mod set-up I'm noticing a few difficulties in getting xp from kills. I'm using FCOM which adds extra enemies that often fight each other. It seems that if I don't get the killing blow on a creature, I don't get experience for fighting it. This is also made more difficult by the tendency of enemies now to flee when low on health.

Realistic leveling seems more similar to the TES formula of leveling up by doing. My main issue with it is that I worry about the progression being too slow for my tastes. I also like playing hybrid builds which I think tend to end up weaker with this sort of leveling system.

So basically, I'm not good at making up my mind.

Both are good to use. I prefered Realistic Leveling since I did not have the levelup screen any more and you do not have to worry about min maxing skill use. It works great with Hybrid builds it just can be difficult at the beginning. I just never build a character that is over level 15 since by that time the character is finished with their story.

I might be thinking to start another one.

I don't like XP systems. They make absolutely no roleplaying sense as far as I'm concerned. A good roleplaying system should not let a character master one skill by performing another. The Elder Scrolls' skill-use system is the finest roleplaying character-leveling system that has yet been invented, in my opinion. So between the two, my vote goes to Realistic Leveling.
