With all the comparisons between the two, figured a poll would be fun.

I'm not sure on what the whole rule of versus threads are, or if they only apply something specific like Fallout 3 vs. Fallout New Vegas threads but I can tell you one thing, it's argument has been beaten to death already, even long before The Witcher 3 released.
For the poll's sake, I think it's fairly obvious Skyrim is going to come out on top considering only a handful of people have played The Witcher 3 here, and everyone else has likely played Skyrim at some point. Also, this is the Bethesda forums.
Cool, but which game do YOU prefer? It's just a poll all in fun as in whatever versus threads there are so far. I'm sure no one is meaning to ruffle any feathers by making any comparisons.
I'm with Legion here, this has been beaten to death and for the poll I'll obviously go for Skyrim since i can play who I want to play instead of generic boring straight white guy number twenty thousand.
And after playing the Witcher 3 for a few hours in a friends house much like 1 and 2 I disliked it.
Lol @ 'generic boring white guy' who sounds like Snake from Metal Gear. Haven't logged on here in a while and didn't see any poll so I thought it would be cool to see some numbers. I will say The Witcher 3 is what Dragon Age Inquisition should have been, but I still prefer Skyrim for similar reasons. Character customization is very important to me in RPG's. Dragon's Dogma definitely has one of the most in depth customization options I've seen to date. Would have been cool if you could at least customize your own Geralt like you can with Shepard in Mass Effect.
Witcher 3 easily. Skyrim had character customization but it was really lacking so it was pretty useless. I rather have good premade characters than custom character with limited customization.
Other RPG's like Morrowind, Dragon Age or whatever.
