I want this to be so. NV is amazing. Even now holds up as a gem. Meanwhile laundry wasteland checklist 3. Woops I meant Fallout 3 doesn't hold up so good.

Actually, I think Obsidian expressed interest in making another west coast Fallout game, but not as large as New Vegas. It was an article somewhere let me find it...

To this day I hope for the return of Gordon, then I do the same for a new Fallout from these gorgeous guys from Obsidian.
Define what a "real" Fallout game is, because public opinion holds Fallout 3 in higher regard than New Vegas, by a longshot.
The one thing I dislike about the community is how antagonistic it is in respect to Bethesda's titles, when it breathed life into the series to begin with.
Explain something to me.
Fallout NV is released in October 2010.
Skyrim is released in November 2011.
Your opinion is that Skyrim is fun and not good.
Your opinion is that Fallout NV is good.
Yet, you somehow put more hours into a not good game (Skyrim) than in a good game, even though you actually had more time to put into the good game.
With a year more to play Fallout NV than Skyrim, and failing to do so, indicates that you found something lacking in the "good" game.
My personal opinion is that Fallout NV was fun. While you didn't specifically say you think Fallout NV was fun, I have to assume you also think it is a fun game, otherwise you wouldn't have played it enough to know that it is a good game. So just what is it about Fallout NV that causes you to favor a NOT good game over it?
i might be wrong about this, but i don't actually think beth "contracted" obsidian. i think they just licensed in.
