Help - lowering health

Post » Wed Jun 10, 2015 2:49 am

Hi all,
First time posting here.
I've just started playing through Skyrim again using mods and console commands for the first time.
I boosted my health using player.modav health
but now I want to lower it so I can take damage like I normally would have.
I've tried using minus values which the console accepts but this doesn't seem to actually do anything.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks guys.

The right command is

player.setav health xx

where xx is the amount of health you want your player to have. This value is the base value; remove all enchanted items that would modify health before using the console command.

I tried this but it didn't seem to work.

I didn't have any enchanted items that affected health but I took everything off anyway just to be sure.

I used the code and set it at 100 at first but still took no damage from enemies.

I then tried the code with the value being just 1 and still took no damage.

Thank you though.

Taking no damage from enemies has nothing to do with the amount of health the pc has. Are you sure one of the mods you use doesn't put the player on "tgm" (toggle god mode)?

Ok, so I've taken off all mods but visual enhancers and weapons but I'm still not taking any damage.

I've checked and tgm mode is toggled off.

Could the game just be bugging?

Also I'm now having issues with my attack speed. I've used player.modav weaponspeedmult and now my weapon only swings occasionally.

Is there a way to reset all of this without losing game progress?
