It's been a couple of years and I just initiated a fresh install of the GOTY. I have the GFWL client, although no longer supported by MS, and adjusted the ini for quad core.

I don't really want to revisit hrs of research and review days of video footage for a suggested core vanilla game. I want to experience the game as I did on release. I played a year with it modded to no end and want something on a base value to prevent me from comparing FO4 to a heavily modded FO3.

I have FOSE installed and only want core fixes and mods that fix various given issues.

I assume the Unofficial Patch but aside from the aforementioned, is there any other fix, patch or cleaning that needs to be done?

EDIT : Stutter removal or something like that? I can't remember...

I hope you told the INI to use two cores, not 4.

Stutter remover can help, but playing in Windowed Mode may eliminate the need for it to begin with. There is a mod to remove the window borders if it does.

Ha! I said 4 but I meant 2. TYVM, my friend. I will look into windowed mode first. I was going to wait to see if I had stutter issues to start with.

I did change the exe settings to use the extra memory. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything new to come out to tweak or modify or if I maybe left something out.
