The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven next-generation open world role-playing game, set in a graphically stunning fantasy universe, full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. The world burns as the Empire of Nilfgaard pierces through the heart of the kingdoms in the north. Geralt of Rivia is pursued by an enemy devoid of mercy--the Wild Hunt, a mythical cavalcade of ghastly riders, harbingers of doom and destruction, capable of destroying entire settlements overnight. Driven by a deeply personal agenda, Geralt must navigate a maze of hostile forces to find and protect the one described in an ancient prophecy.

New thread's up.

Here's the link to that thread where I posted my suggestions for improving the inventory system. If you go over there, check out the post two above mine, by warbaby2. Consider giving that post redpoints and thanks as well - it has some great ideas.

So The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sold 4 million copies 2 weeks after it released for sale. Possible to sell 8 million copies before 2015 ends? Or 10 million copies sold lifetime? Possibly more than 10 million copies sold lifetime? Possible to reach The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim number of copies sold? Or more copies sold than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim during it's lifetime?

I don't think they'll surpass Skyrim, not because of the games quality, but because Bethesda has a larger following and makes their games to target the majority. Conversely, CDPR loves their fans and listens to feedback and creates a game that both they are proud of and that their fans will appreciate instead of targeting the larger crowd.

It's similar to Kojima which is why I'm so excited for MGSV. Kojima even mentioned that he was refusing to buckle into certain things because it was his own creation and he would be including controversial material whether or not it meant losing sales. Kojima and CDPR are probably the only two devs I have faith in (particularly Kojima).

After the holidays are over for 2015. I would be surprised if on January 1st, 2016 CD Projekt RED announces that they have sold a total of 8 million copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

If this does become a reality I can see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt selling maybe 17 million copies by the Summer of 2016.

Where are you getting these numbers. I doubt the game will even get close since the game is not that good at least for me. In some ways I wish I never bought the game for full price since I have the feeling I did not get my moneys worth out of it.

Wow misleading name is misleading. I figured we were getting new Gwent cards and I was starting to get a little frustrated yesterday when I couldn't find them.

Do you guys ever feel guilty when you are out monster hunting or treasure hunting when you are supposes to be looking for Ciri?

I never feel complete OK with leaving the main quest. There's always that one NPC telling you you have to hurry or this or that will happen, haha

No. I'm having fun just wandering around exploring the video game world map of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and killing enemy NPC's I see. I'm having more fun doing this than I ever did in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

I was hoping the patch fixed my issue with the missing NPC, as the race bookie for the quest The Heroes' Pursuits: For the Goddess' Glory! in Skellige is still not there. And I'm seeing reports of the issue since May 26th and no one at CDPR has even bothered to address the issue. That's just dandy.

That 8 million number he gave may actually not be too far off - I saw a page a while back where some market anolyst projected total sales of 7 million copies. I don't remember where I saw it, though.

New mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/165/?

There are several versions to choose from. Currently I have everything else with hairworks, excluding Geralt's hair (beard effects are still enabled).

I suggest using the QuickBMS versions available. Be sure to read the instructions if you do.

Is this the lady that is standing by the barrel with the horseshoes?

Or the run up the mtn and swim challenge? (being vague on purpose)

Well, i thing 7 millions is a good number for an sequel - considering (according to a financial report by CD Project RED), Witcher 1 + Witcher 2 sold 8 million copies until September 2014. !!!
