What lies outside Skuldafn? Take a look!

Messing around climbing the perimeter mountains Ulda managed to get outside of the constructed area and scrabble down the other side of the mountains to what?

Well, I was a bit surprised. I thought to find just the pastel blue/ green of the unwritten cyber void, but no!

Skuldafn is an island surrounded by ankle deep water that extended for miles. After a long hike, suddenly there suspended motionless in Roost mode was a Blood Dragon! Just hanging in the air above the endless shallow ocean. Probably just an image, but no! As Ulda walked almost under it, she was noticed. The radar pinged up a red dot and the fight was on. Well, not much tbh. Ulda shouted Dragonrend at it so it had to land, and the only solid land was way over the water at Skuldafn Island so off it flew to find a place to crash! Then I noticed a dragon circling low over the waters. It's animation was clearly the chap from Bonestrewn Crest! Off in the distance I saw a huge rectangular monolith like a skyscraqer, mbur black and featureless........I thought Ah! "2001 A Space Odessy". Ha! But it was just a construct with no purpose and not solid either. A misplace ultra simplified mountain, maybe? No Greybeards hanging off it though! Further on, another Roosting Dragon hanging in the sky! Ulda kept going until her map marker showed her Skyrim location as well off the proper map, North of Solitude. At that point I headed her back across the miles of shallow black waters to Skuldafn. A fascinating look beyond the intended world construct. Not new to me though, since I have seen this type of thing many times, even in Oblivion, but not outside Skuldafn before.
I linked a pic showing the dragon and Skuldafn Island ( bottom left) on the ocean. Hope it works!

Edit......there's also unintentionally a nice pic of Ulda in the same bucket. 馃槏

Yes, I used the console to levitate out of Skuldafn once to see what it looked like. I remember thinking that the islands floating in the air were a beautiful and surreal sight.

Yeah, I'm kind if amazed that these kinds of places exist at all, since they can't surely be made deliberately. I got outside The Bromjunaar Sanctuary in Labyrinthian once. And that place really was suspended in blue green cyber void, maybe I will post a pic of that too.

Yes, I imagine using the pc console it must be easy to explore like this. Unfortunately, I play on the other type of console and escaping the intended areas involves a great deal of running up mountains while tacking left and right looking for tiny moves forward. Took about twenty Minutes to seek out a route. I found huge U shaped (Glacial) valleys with sheer walls out of sight of the skuldafn construct, that alone was amazing! I also once escaped Sovnguard. It was surrounded by very spikey "mountains" and eventually nothingness!

That's kind of appropriate, I'd say. :)
