Skyrim 2?

Post » Mon Jun 15, 2015 2:50 pm

Well i just read this and there is a Ubisoft Survey that says (Skyrim 2)

I think it's a mistake they made. Skyrim 2 doesn't even sound right. lol

Well .. who knows. I remember years ago Bethesda saying they would do more content for Skyrim maybe they are going to make Skyrim 2. lol

Or maybe it's like remake for PS4 and Xbox One. Or maybe it's a complete reboot of the game.

But the question is, would it be Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim 2 or Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2: The Skyrining?

In any case, I don't think a Skyrim 2 would fit the usual M.O. of Bethesda.

I think Beth had more content in mind for Skyrim, but the problems and hassles they had with getting the game into playable shape for ps3 kind of sunk that. It was obligatory for them to get the game working on the consoles; it might have required having resources shifted away from new content to getting current content working correctly. Not that Beth had the best track record for ps3 anyway.

Skyrim 2 the Adventure game, a spinoff made by Piranha Bytes? Or was it the Eye of Argonia?

traditionally, every tes-title features another province of tamriel, skyrim just being one of which, and many haven't yet been covered at all (except if you care to count tesO), so i just don't see a skyrim 2 in that line. except in a VERY distant future of course when they'll have completed the whole cycle through all the other provinces, but at the usual tes release pace, i probably won't be around by then anymore... (one reason for wanting to live forever at last anyway)

...OR future tes games might become that big that they cover more than 1 province at once of course. but they could as well just make larger provinces :-)

That's just them being dumb and not knowing how TES titles are named.

Indeed. Why trust Ubisoft when it comes to TES?

Although Ubisoft did publish Morrowind in Europe, but that was over a decade ago and no reason for them to know what's going on now

Well I read that survey listed it as Elder Scrolls 6 and also listed Red Dead 2. First off why would Ubisoft have any knowledge of these games releasing soon? Most likely they were included simply because they are two of the most anticipated sequels to be announced at this time. They are probably just assuming they will be released eventually..

Ideally before shipping the game, but even when they pulled the plug I'm not sure how much the game works. I still had to deal with overlong loading screens, drops in frame rate, and freezes on the PS3 even after 1.9 was released.

I'm confused about Ubisoft's survey thing, though I would like to see news of Rockstar's next Red Dead title.

hm...

considering the fallout universe is in the state it's in because of nuclear WEAPONS, while it's nuclear POWER PLANTS mostly are fully or at least partly operable even centuries after the nuka-lypse, what exactly is this statement's op trying to tell us with this...? :-)

Considering you can see what he's responding to, I think it's pretty apparent. But you could always click the speech bubbles to go to the thread and get the full context there.

Looks like people just blowing things out of proportion. On the survey, it's listed as "A new Elder Scrolls(Skyrim 2)". Just looks like a derp to me. Someone, somewhere who knows nothing about the series just whipped together a survey about popular games to generate site traffic. We all know there's going to be another TES. Nothing new there. This is hardly a confirmation.
