When I try to clean a WIP file with Wrye Mash, I get this error message.

"File master list is out of date. Please edit masters before attempting repair."

I edit the masters list, I even repaired the master files in question, it Wrye said they were ok. and when I go to repair my WIP file, I get the same error message

I don't know what's going on, could someone help me?

Using Steam version shoudn't be different when it comes modding, except for a http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42196 (only works with Morrowind Steam version).

I think you're doing wrong here and AFAIK you cannot clean a mod in Wrye Mash instead you need to use one of these tools listed http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1305729-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/#entry19643968.

Did you save the WIP file in Mash after editing its master list?
