Fallout Shelter, Make a PC Version!

Post » Tue Jun 16, 2015 3:52 am

I wanted to post this on this thread as well as the Fallout Shelter because there aren't many people viewing the apps thread yet. I am in love the app, and I can't seem to break myself away from it. However, I am not much of a mobile gamer. Imagine if there were a PC version of this game! There could be more features like: Enacting sinister plans like Vault-Tec did in Vault 92 with the White noise, or maybe like Vault 11 with the forced sacrifice.. Or maybe there could be a mode where a group of dwellers discover a derelict vault that another player either abandoned or failed. You could assemble and place weapon turrets around your vault to protect it and make a security roster for guards. Enact the use of ThinkBrain computers and RoboBrains or Mr. Handys to handle simple tasks. The possibilities are endless with the PC, but they are limited on a mobile platform. I love playing Prison Architect and if this game followed in their footsteps, Vault Shelter could actually reach its full potential! Lemme know if y'all agree! :)

I don't care for playing the game myself but yeah, make a PC version too. Exclusivity is just a slap in the face to the people that do want the game but are unfortunate enough to have chosen what you, Bethesda, consider a non-worthy system to support. I mean, there's more money in it, the more accessible you make a 'digital product' the more people will buy it because they all have access to it.

Just saw that it was free.

I'm honestly surprised by how many people actually care about these apps. I mean, I wouldn't mind having something to play on my phone when I'm on break or something, but meh.

Aren't Androids used more often than iOS anyway? Why ignore such an enormous part of the market?

Well in the Bethesda conference at E3, the lead designer of Fallout expressed his affection for Apple and the iPhone. I suspect that has something to do with why the app is iOS exclusive.
