Fallout movies

I know many, if not the majority of Fallout fans never played the originals and can't be bothered to now because of how old they are and how different they are compared to the newer ones. With that in mind, I think a couple Fallout movies that follow the events of Fallout 1 and 2 verbatim would be an excellent idea. It'd be a way for newer fans to get the stories of 1 and 2 and it'd drum up interest for the franchise from people who've never bothered to play any of the Fallout games.

I'm trying to play them occasionally. But it takes some getting used to, tbh.

If there were some Fallout movies, I'd certainly watch them, although I have my doubts whether the Fallout Universe is a good world for movies.

Yeah they would and Bethesda did opt for some movie rights re Fallout some time back.

I think however they would work better as Animated movies. The amount of money to depict multiple small hamlet /towns a Vault City, Boneyard , etc would be pretty high not to mention depicting Deathclaws, your robot variations , Ghouls, and so on via Live Action would be prohibitive.

Just look at it, Vault Dweller selected from others (perhaps short straw), cast a venerable actor as the Overseer. What might be interesting is if they depicted the vault dweller by himself. Generally movies nowadays dont do solo actor movies. It can be done, it just is not done often.
