HEy there

just picked up FONV for the first time in a while, loaded a game and was sneaking around, no no matter how much I press "z" I won't stand up. I tried reloading & restarting etc but nothin' :/

It makes me a sad. 8(

Try sitting in a chair or on a bench and then stand up. This worked to break you out of sneak in Skyrim, so it may work in New Vegas as well.

You changed the default settings? I belive the default sneak key is "Left CTRL" while "Z" is used to grab things.
