Ive noticed they never seem to mention or acknowedge the others existance, yet all of them do seem to be in the soul taking business.

So im wondering what would happen if a Daedric Lord and Alduin came face to face, would the Daedric Lords fear the World Eater or would they put Alduin in his place? Always been curious if Alduin could match the Daedric Lords. Imagine Alduin and Dagon nose to nose.

In theory, a Daedric lord should be able to win because they are amoral equivalents of the original 8 divines while Alduin is a 'weaker' creation or something like that of Akatosh. Also, note the power required to defeat each one. Mehrunes Dagon was only stopped by the combined sacrifice of the last Septim Emperor, the Amulet of Kings and Akatosh itself back during the Oblivion crisis while Alduin could be stopped by 1 mortal and 3 heroic spirits.

Also, don't the Princes head back to their personal planes of existence after being defeated? For some reason I have always thought that, but can not recall why I think that

Mehrunes Dagon would lose to Alduin as long as Alduin chews before swallowing this time.

I doubt that Alduin and a Daedric Prince could ever actually come face to face, since they belong to different realms. The business with Mehrunes Dagon and Martin was unusual, because M.D. was outside his realm, and probably not at full power (in Shivering Isles, we learn that the Daedric Princes are their realms.)

So its safe to say Alduin is probably out of his league in dealing with Daedrric Lords.
