Beware of the Civil War Questline

Hi all, so surprisingly the boards are still active, so I decided to give you all a warning. There's a chance (this happened with me, anyway) that the Civil War questline will result in hundreds of redundant active script instances. This might not sound terrible, but this can cause horrible slowdowns, especially on consoles. I was on Xbox 360 and this caused several issues, chief among them being insane load times, transformations taking around four minutes to occur, etc.

When I checked the active script instances on my 360 save (long story on how I did that) it was the same four or five scripts repeated several hundred times, resulting in around 1300 active scripts. If you are on console, try to avoid these quests if you can. The effects are not immediately apparent and scripts seem to continue being created even after the questline is finished.

As a side note, this issue may also have something to do with curing vampirism or changing your face. I have no way of proving this, but my issues arose after I did this several times.

I forget the exact scripts. I did this a month ago and don't currently have access to my desktop. I remember it was something like:

CWWhiterun
and
CWRikke

Or something like that. They had very little relation other than being part of the civil war questline. The strange part is that these problems came about not after I completed the questline, but after I cured my vampirism to change my characters appearance. However, deleting the scripts did, in fact, solve the issue.

I'm on console also(PS3) and I've had problems with the CW quests everytime I've done them. After I clear one of the Imperial held forts and return to Galmar for the next assignment he won't respond to the script triggering the next assignment,he just stands there behind his map table and keeps repeating the same response about "You will now be known as"...very frustrating so I've stopped trying to do the CW quest line altogether.
