Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, it seemed like the most appropriate one to me.

I cannot use the silt striders. Based on a video I watched, I should click on "destinations" when talking to the guy that owns it, and then a list of locations in red text will appear. That list does not appear for me. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

So you mentioned the list doesn't appear for you. Do you have the option to travel at the top right of the dialogue menu?

Also which Silt Strider are you at? (Gnisis, Ald Ruhn, Balmora, Seyda Neen, Vivec, etc..)

The "destination" topic will just give you some dialog about the world.
You want to click on "travel" in the top right of the window.

Make sure you don't have any diseases, as that prevents some NPCs from doing services with you.

Yes, the travel option was what I needed. I didn't even notice those things in the top right before- the NPC interactions in this game are a bit different.
