Order of the Vituas Blood Quest-starting help

Post » Thu May 20, 2010 10:27 pm

Ok so I want my character to become a vampire, just restarted the game and I did this before where I go and start the Order of Vituas Blood Quest (or whatever its called) to become a vampire that way instead of doing the quest about joining the dark brotherhood...

I know I have to go to some guy's house in the Imperial City (forgot his name) than somehow get a girl to ask me to go to that house to start it but how do I make this girl appear? do I need a certain amount of Rep? Or is it just Random?
Because one time I waited there for 3 days and nothing happend, the other times I restarted the game and could have just got to the city and waited an hour my first time there and she would appear O__O

I am using the GOTY 360 version

Your fame has to be 5 or higher in order for Ralsa Norvalo to track you down in the Temple District.

Oh ok, shouldn't be to hard to do, so i have to be in the Temple District for it to work? And do I wait a certain amount of time or is that kinda random?

Thank You

If you are in the temple area with fame greater than five, then the NPC will find you. Generally she'll pop up when you come out of an inn/house or anyplace where you are obviously loading the temple district zone. :)

Just a note, though you might figure this out or stumble on it anyway - I find that I generally have to stand around for a bit and wait for her. I'm not sure where she spawns, but it always seems to be somewhere out of sight, then she runs across the district to meet me. So when I'm ready to start the quest, I just hang around the Temple district for a bit and wait for her to come to me.

Fastest way to get fame is 5 fights in the Arena

My guess would be that she starts out at her house, which is somewhere back among the rest of the houses - I'm not sure where. I don't spend much time in the Temple district normally - I just pass through on my way back and forth to the Waterfront, so I come in one of the middle doors, go around the Temple, then go out the other door. When I'm ready for that quest, I just stop somewhere along the way and wait, and eventually she comes running out from somewhere back in the houses.

You're really over-complicating it. Just go to the Temple District and wait. If you're really impatient, advance time a few hours. It's not hard at all to get her to show up. You don't have to do anything special. She'll come find you.

Also, do you realize that you don't need this quest at all to become a vampire, right? Just fighting a vampire--any vampire--has a chance to inflict you with the vampiric disease. There are a few dungeons that always have vampires regardless of level. Doing the Order of Virtuous Blood seems like an odd method of becoming a vampire considering it's an order about KILLING vampires.

no need to be rude

yes I know there are other ways but I don't know where to other vampires are and even if someone told me like a cave name I haven't rememberd where every cave in the game is and this just seems pretty straight forward and such.....Yes it might be odd to start it off but I don't start my RPing till I become a vampire and just pretend like I got hit by any random vamp so it didn't matter to me so much

I wasn't trying to be rude at all, sorry if it seemed that way.

If you do continue to have troubles with this quest or don't want to bother with the Fame, I can tell you for certain that http://www.uesp.net/maps/obmap/obmap.shtml?centeron=Barren+Cave always has vampires and is very easy to find. Just go to Cheydinhal and follow the road West, it'll be just off the road on your right.
