With the direction that Fallout 4 portends towards some sort of TES and GTA (Todd Howard admitting that GTA V does open worlds well and Fallout 4 clearly sharing GTA's feature creep) amalgamation, it's becoming onerous to be anything but forlorn in regards to the series' future.

I'm trying to remain optimistic, but today in the location suggestion thread I realized how apathetic I am towards the future of the series, especially with the ever evanescing chance of Obsidian developing another game.

I love Fallout, which is why it's becoming increasingly difficult to identify with Bethesda's interpretation of the series...
