Ive had a dream since Skyrim came out. I want to work at Bethesda Game Studios.
Now, I know that youve heard everyone saying that making video games is a dream job but its "non-realistic". The way I see it: Its only realistic, if you make it realistic. Ive always had the ideology that if you work hard enough, youll achieve your goals (I know, very cliche) But I come here today to seek any others who share the same "non-realistic" dream, and also ask for any tips the community might have for those of us with dreams like this.
From multiple interviews and presentations Ive watched ( Todd Howard included) The number 1 thing companies look for, is something youve done. Its nice to have a diploma that says "Computer Science" or "Video Game Design", but if you can bring in something that youve made, you can stand out.
What do you guys think?
