Where gay stuff this prevalent in previous ES games?

I am just wondering, I have noticed a lot of gay npc:s in ESO. Was this something that was a prevalent in previous ES games or is this something that Zenimax have decided to put in there? There are frequent quest where you have to help some man save his husband or a woman to save her wife etc. Now, I am not wondering because I have any issues with this things at all, I just noticed it seems to be very pushed in the game, almost to a point where it feels a bit contrived like they are trying to make some kind of statement. But then again, most of the dialogue feels kind of contrived so it is maybe that. I just am wondering if this is something that where in the previous games because I have not noticed it before? Also NPC.s speaks completely open about like there is as normal as regular opposite six relations so I guess as far as lore goes that would mean there is no issues existing about these kind of things in Tamriel.

If it's above 1 in 10, you have a point. if it isn't, you're just being a pain.

Then again, do these cultures allow for homosixuals? Because being painfully obvious about it (example: Renly-Loras) is in very poor taste.

If ingratiating there is, it would be more gamesas ingratiating themselves with the gay community... if there is such a community.

Morrowind actually had a bisixual character by the name of Crassius Curio. I still remember when he told my male redguard to take off all of his clothes. I was completely violated. Not because I was a male redguard but because i was 8 years old.........

ESO deals with same-six relationships more than previous TES games, but ESO also deals with relationships in general far more than previous TES games. By something like a factor of 10, after adjusting for the total amount of content in each game. With this much focus on relationships, there are going to be some same-six ones.

In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, it was hinted that Viranus Donton (son of Fighter's Guild Master Vilena Donton) had a romantic interest in one Eduard. You find this information in Viranus's diary in the quest, "Trolls of Forsaken Mine."

As Lady N indicates, it's always been there (at least since Daggerfall) but it's been a background issue that only really only turns up in a few books and a handful of lines of dialogue. But relationships in general have been a background issue as well. Asside from a few prominent people, you're rarely told who is married to whom anyway.

With Skyrim, and ESO in particular, there's been more display of relationships between NPCs, which has pulled all the background elements into the foreground.
