Elder Scrolls comic book series

I love comics, and I love the Elder Scrolls, why isn't there a comic book series of it? (Unless there is one I'm not aware of, I've looked)

There could be a comic book series taking place in any era. Personally I think it would be cool to have one set during the conflict between the Thalmor and the Empire, (between the events of Oblivion and Skyrim), and the series can be based on a warrior or battlemage type of character that obviously gets into adventures. I'd prefer it to be a dark violent comic of course.

Seriously Bethesda think about this, it could be awesome.

Despite the current trend to multi-media things, Bethesda has very little in the way of non-game TES articles. They have 2 novels, and some stuff that's shipped with various collectors editions. That's about it. Oh, and a compilation of in-game texts...

I'd personally like for them to expand a little... more into novels than anything... but i'm sceptical about it happening.

Closest thing to a TES comic was one that came out with the Redguard game's launch. TES really works as a comic book imo, if that one is any indicative.

Honestly, since the TES Adventures spin offs got cancelled, a comic book following it's would-have-been stories could be sweet.

The full comic is http://www.imperial-library.info/content/cover-0, if you feel like checking it out.
