Mesh and texture illumination help

Post » Wed Jul 01, 2015 11:25 am

Some cliff statics I'm working with are set up to only allow illumination on some faces, I'm guessing to discourage placing them with the layers of sediment facing the wrong way. I put a light near them in the cell and the texture on that side of the cliff stays completely dark. It'd be a hassle to find an alternate object. Anyone know what nif or texture edits I'd need to make to get the lighting to show up correctly? If I fix it I can just find/replace with the new static.

doesn't necessarily have to be stg about the model, did you check the lighting settings in your cell?

disable aux light (the light bulb icon), enable sky, enable effects. does the texture still stay dark then?
