Few more questions about New Vegas if. Companionsmovement.

Hello. Apologies for my English. It isn't my native.

I have read the "post your builds" and "companions" threads and I have noticed that there tons of the people who use companions in NV. Even create characters builds which are based on companions. I was pretty surprised, because I have really hated companions in Fallout 3 as they always seemed to be bothering me, or starting a fight without my word. They always seemed to make a footsteps noise and distracting me, blocking my path or talking about random stuff while being in a dungeon or metro - like seriously?!

So just out curosity; have companion system been enhanced in any way in New Vegas? Like is it enjoyable to have them? I have completed Fallout 3 completly as lone wolf (83 hours in and still going) and I have never found companions to be usefull... more of an issue than a fun with them I would say.

About the movement question. I may be out of luck, but worth a try I guess. If someone played Fallout 3 on Xbox 360, then he would surely know what I am talking about. Don't know if those issues appear on PC honestly.

The movement and camera view are kinda cluttered and laggy on Xbox 360. I mean it's not "that" bad as you can get used to it and it's minor. The movement is pretty tricky especially when you are jumping or want to get on upground. The camera view is little delayed and sometimes stutters when moving at the angle (the trick is, that you can't move it diagonally; only horizontally and upright. And when you do diagonally it stutters in a weird way). The console version of camera view has been programmed a little weird way.

Back to the point: if someone played it on 360, has the movement and camera view improved in any way? Or does it still have this Fallout 3 "feeling"? I would appreciate the answer :)

There's also one more thing if anyone would be willing to answer. I noticed in "post your builds" thread, that people says that Charisma is pretty useless special stat as it only adds companion damage. Could anyone elaborate if Charisma is weak if I would plan on doing lone wolf character in New Vegas? Or does it serve any purpose in quests/npcs? I would also please for no spoilers as I haven't gotten the game yet. Just a simple answers.

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.

Cheers.

The compaions in New Vegas are really useful. The Companion wheel makes management insanely simple, and the Companion perks enhanse your ablilites. One lets you see enemies better, and your effective range with your equipped weapon. Another lets you detect enemies from further away.
