I want to start a new character and be able to access the arcane uni, is there a mod which allows this? Ideally one which simply removes the gates and nothing else.

I found one which shortcuts the reccomendation quests, but I dont want to skip the quests, just to have access to the uni for RP purposes.

Sounds like it should be easy enough to make such a mod by yourself.

Just use the console. When in console, click on the required door, type unlock, hit return. Simple as that.
