Fallout Cosplay

Post » Mon Jul 06, 2015 8:42 pm

How many here are cosplayers and plan on using their pip-boy edition? How many of you build armors and weapons? What is your preferred method (e.i.: Worbla, EVA foam, paper mache)? Do you cosplay a vault dweller or a faction?

Also, what are your favorite conventions to attend?

I'm actually surprised this topic hasn't existed yet... did a search for it.

EDIT: I was told to move my post here because cosplay is considered fan-fiction, I guess?

Worbla looks like awesome stuff indeed. I've used other thermoplastics, and some that requires solvents to soften.
I usually use foam, leather, or papier-maché.

I haven't done any Fallout props yet. The last prop I made was a gauntlet for something called 'Debonair Ezreal' for another cosplayer [seen wearing it].

I'm currently doing an Immortan Joe mask; (unfinished, but I'll post an image if it turns out well).

That looks awesome!

I've only used Worbla for my Blizzcon costume 2 years ago, but I'm going to be using it again this year for my Medivh costume. Never worked with EVA yet, but I want to experiment with it because it gets awesome results as well from what I've seen.

Last prop I've made was my Bottlecaps. I dont have permission to post links yet, but it's tinyurl slash nzsavvk

I don't really cosplay, though I do love my Duster and once I get that Pipboy you can bet I'm wearing it for a while.
