Future Quake Idea.

You guys are probably going to hate this idea, but it's just that- an idea. I'm a huge fan of Quake, moreso than DooM I must admit, I've grown up on it, played all the installments, etc, and while I love the Arena Style FPS, I'm personally beginning to lose interest in most Arena FPS style games anymore. Not that they're bad, they're great, it's just all been done before. Bethesda has a Medieval fantasy open world RPG, a post apocalyptic open world RPG that borderlines DieselPunk a bit, so I'm wondering... would a sci-fi open world RPG be a consideration? A dark, gritty, gruesome, bloody, sci-fi RPG in the form of another Quake. Quake 1 and 3 (arena) didn't really seem to have much of a story, and don't get me wrong, I still play Quake Arena on Steam, but 2 and 4 actually gripped me as a child and felt like the stronger of the series. An open world space RPG sounds like it'd be a lot of fun. Obviously humans and Strogg were space faring, it'd be kind of interesting to see that on a much larger scale, where your decisions actually affect gameplay, you can choose which side to be with, the war could expand to other planets besides Earth and Stroggos, build your own ship, weapons like the BFG, strongholds, things like that. I dunno, it's just an idea, probably a terrible one, but I figured I'd just put it out there. Feel free to add upon it, improve upon it, constructively criticize it, whichever.
