Followers! : V

Hey guys, my faithful follower Lydia has been killed by a group of bandits ;( I am currently lvl 9 and I need a followers help me along skyrim. Could someone please give me help on where to find the followers and how to get them to be your companion.

If you are willing to pay out 500 gold, Jenassa is in the drunken maiden in Whiterun and is a pretty good follower.

I personally like my orc followers, strong and fierce like me lol. But you have to have some kind of standing with the orcs or be an orc for them. Some of the Companions can be followers too.

I am in the companions at the moment which one do you think is best??

Tbh, I've never used the Companions. But I would think Farkos, Vilkas, or the Huntress would be decent followers.

Sorry I forgot to add what do you have to do to get one of the companions to be your follower

Oh, I believe you have to keep doing the quests
