Girlfriend and I are finally about to get a new rig, but we're currently mostly concerned about the PC case (1st world problems, huh?). Thing is, I'm personally not a giant fan of those high towers of neon green and orange colours, and cases that look like they'll just about to transform into a transformer, I guess you could say I'm looking for a "designer piece" (I can't believe I just wrote that lol). Anyway, so far I've be digging through cube designed ones, and http://www.cooltek.de/en/jonsbo-powered-by-cooltek/w-series/131/w2 is the best candidate, but I'd like to get some opinions on this case from someone who actually understands the specs listed, and I wouldn't mind some completely other case suggestions at all, either! We're initially getting a bit cheaper setup and will then gradually ugrade it piece by piece, and I wouldn't want to end up with a case that won't be able to hold a gaming rig.

That isn't a very cost efficient way to get a gaming PC. You are going to end up paying more in the long run by using this method, I would recommend saving for a year and buying something within your budget.

As for the case itself I'd just read reviews, and make sure you realize if you are going to go forward with your purchasing plan a small form factor may limit your options down the road. Additionally make sure it has dust filters, if I were building another computer right now I would not buy a case without removable dust filters.

I would check out Fractal Design for cases, I have the Define R4 and have had no problems with it. They are a good company if you aren't looking for the overly flashy "gamer" aesthetic some companies tend to put into their cases.

Yep, which is not a problem for us, because where we'd stick the tower we'd have good access to it's back side, + we barely ever use CDs.

Reviews are generally good, even too good compared to some other cases I wasn't that much into.

I'm aware that it's not the most cost efficient, but the problem is that we really need a PC as soon as possible, the laptop we're currently using has it's screen held by books because the screen is totally detached, + other problems (and the fact that it was insanely cheap and is really slow), and after that I'll have to spend money on some pieces for a home recording studio. Gaming rig, however, is something we don't need asap, and waiting to have enough money to buy a powerful gaming rig just wouldn't work.

Anyway, I really appreciate the imput. I really dig some of the fractal designs, thank you for the link!
